The Tyler Group rings the curtains up at Barcelona’s Theatres


Barcelona’s theatre scene is thriving and is always very well attended by locals and tourists of all ages.There is a small theatre close to the Palau Musica Catalana that hosts both touring companies and local theatre performances suitable for all ages and tastes. Its programme is extremely varied from Belgian mime to South American circus and Jamaican documentary. Another theater known as a family theatre, with the show times being the guide to suitability. It stages everything from comedies to musicals and serious works. The shows before 9pm are generally ideal for anyone any age and the shows after 9pm are suitable for anyone over the age of 16. Also, a contemporary building of 42,000 square meters planned by the architect Rafael Moneo and opened on March 22, 1999. It has excellent acoustics ideal for the many musical arrangements staged here.
